Low voter turnout compared to 2018, 2020

Early voting ended on Saturday with 34,215 people casting their votes in Escambia County. With the 27,786 mail-in ballots received, the county had a voter turnout of 27.68% as of Nov. 5.

In 2020, Escambia had 69,837 people vote early and 58,723 by mail – turnout 55%.

In 2018, the county had 39,052 people take advantage of early voting.
