Levin Papantonio Rafferty’s years of fighting for clean water is paying off. A national settlement in the amount of
$1.185 billion has been reached between Dupont, Chemours, and Corteveva and the Plaintiffs Executive Committee in the Aqueous Film-Forming Foams (AFFF) Products Liability Litigation (MDL No. 2873).
Why this matters: Emerald Coast Utilities Authority (ECUA) is a plaintiff in this national litigation, which means this settlement bodes well for our local communities. The settlement also sheds a positive light on additional MDL lawsuits filed on behalf of water providers across the country.
