Lumon May, Democratic candidate for Escambia County Commission, District 3, had another strong fundraising quarter. He is March 31 report shows that he raised $9750 in cash and in-kind contributions and had 68 contributors. The next best fundraiser in the Democratic primary is Anne Walker with $335.16 from three contributors. Jewel Cannada-Wynn, former Pensacola city council member, raised $155 from four contributors.
The other three Democratic candidates–Terreance Hines, Pat Pepper and Clinton Powell, Sr.– have not raised any campaign funds. The Democratic primary is August 15. Lumon May is the only Democratic candidate who has met the petition requirement.
