On Friday, February 13, Culinary Productions, Inc. will host a “Noche de Los Muertos†Mardi Gras Gourmet Dinner Night from 6:30 p.m. – until at 5Eleven Palafox (located at 511 S. Palafox St.) to benefit the St. Michael’s Cemetery Foundation of Pensacola, Inc. The event will include a SpanishÂthemed gourmet buffetÂstyle dinner and passed apps by CPI Chefs and dessert by Up2You Cupcakes, complimentary nonÂalcoholic drinks, beer from the Pensacola Bay Brewery, wine, and a signature cocktail. There will be music by Ramsey Coates with AnyDayDJ.com, and artwork by featured artist Loren Miller.
Guests are encouraged but not required to dress in Day of the Dead attire and wear their dancing shoes. Complimentary face painting will be offered by artists Marquise & JP Tamayo with Emerald Coast Pixie Productions, LLC and a photo booth with Rogue Events, LLC and Allie Kat Photography. Guests can check out the Krewe of Lafitte Illuminated Mardi Gras parade which begins at 7:30pm as it rounds the corner after 9pm outside the venue.
The SpanishÂthemed gourmet menu will be released on Pep Talk With Wendi Summers on NewsRadio AM1620 on Monday, February 9 at 10:30am where Wendi will chat with Mike DeSorbo, CPI Chef and Owner, and Raela Villanueva, Creative Director of Emerald Coast Pixie Productions, LLC.
A silent auction and door prize drawing will benefit The St. Michael’s Cemetery Foundation, Inc. whose mission is to serve as the primary steward of historic St. Michael’s Cemetery by providing overall management, supporting restoration and conservation efforts that maintain the historic fabric of the site, and to promote public awareness and stewardship through education. Funds raised will help clean up recent vandalism of the cemetery.
Single seats are $40 each or reserve a table of 8 for $300 or a table of 10 for $350. Pricing includes a full gourmet buffet meal, complimentary drinks and raffle ticket. Seats and tables can be reserved by calling the CPI office at (850) 469-Â0445 and paying in advance by credit card, cash, or check.
