Award-winning Christian music composer, arranger, pianist and conductor Mark Hayes will perform a public concert of his piano works on Friday, Feb. 7 at 7:30 PM at Grace Lutheran Church, 6601 N 9th Ave, Pensacola.
The concert is sponsored by the Pensacola Music Teachers Association. General admission is $10 for adults and $5 for college students with ID and school age students 18 and under. Hayes’ personal catalog, totaling over 1,000 published works, includes work for solo voice, solo piano, multiple pianos, orchestra, jazz combo, small instrumental ensembles, and choruses of all kinds.
His concert in Pensacola will feature his piano works. A resident of Kansas City, Missouri, he has performed throughout the US and on international tours to Europe, Asia, Australia, New Zealand, Brazil, South Africa and Canada.
The Pensacola Music Teachers Association is a registered non-profit whose members are professionally engaged in the teaching of music in Escambia and Santa Rosa counties in Northwest Florida.
