Our favorite PNJ columnist has surveyed the political landscape and finds reasons for optimism: Gene Valentino and Grover Robinson are about to be sworn in as commissioners; Escambia Co. School Board is out to close some schools; and ECUA is dealing with moving the Main St. Plant.

He ends with this quote that still makes us go Hmmmmmmm:

“Whatever the issue, now is the time for residents to lead, follow or speak up.”

I thought it was time for leaders to lead.
