May Day signals start of Lumon May’s bid for District 3

This morning Lumon May-Democratic candidate for Escambia County Commission District 3-and about three dozen supporters waived signs in support of his campaign on the corner of Cervantes Street and Ninth Avenue. Tonight he will have a campaign meeting at starting at 6 p.m. at the Pensacola Improv on
375 North Pace Blvd. Expect to Lumon May signs going up this week.

The Democratic primary is August 14. We will know who else is in the primary race by mid-June when the Supervisor of Elections qualifies the candidates.
