McCain leads in Florida

Yesterday, the latest poll by Quinnipiac University was released. It shows John McCain with 50 percent of the Florida vote. Democrat Obama has 43 percent. There is a margin of error of plus or minus 3.1 percentage points. The poll was taken from Sept. 5-9 — immediately after the Republican convention ended.

Earlier in the week, a Fox News/Rasmussen Reports survey said Florida was tied, with each candidate at 48 percent.
