We have been notified that Michael Zipay passed away early Sunday morning. He was the drum major for McGuire’s Pipe Band.
He had been part of McGuire’s Pipe Band since 1989. Previously he was with the Pensacola Civic Band, was in the Marine Corps and served in Vietnam.
