MCM-BAP backs up, will submit a third plan

CMP
At the Pensacola City Council workshop, Miami developer MCM-BAP said it will submit a revised proposal within the next three weeks. The new proposal, the third in six months, will include real estate taxes and common area maintenance fees.

Meanwhile, I hope that the mayor’s office and CBRE will do their due diligence on the parties MCM-BAP says will develop the 120-room hotel and 200-unit housing project. IDP Housing – the proposed builder of the housing on the waterfront parcels 7 and 8 – doesn’t appear to have done the type of housing that the CMPA and mayor envisioned for the maritime park.

The next proposal should be fully vetted by the mayor’s office to ensure it is more in line with the vision for the park before it is given to the CMPA and later the Pensacola City Council for approval.
