The Pensacola News Journal is reporting that multiple people were injured after midnight in a brawl outside of Helen Back in downtown Pensacola. On Saturday night, the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office had to shutdown the Portofino Boardwalk after a brawl happened in its parking lot. Last week, a law enforcement officer shared with me that he had been seeing more large group fights breaking out around the community.
I guess we will have to get accustomed to the word “melee.”
