I have some exciting news to share with everyone…
The DeWeese family went to the Supervisor of Elections office today
to Qualify and File our official papers for me to run for City Council District 3.
My decision to run for office is based on three things or should I say 3 very important people …Katharina, Nikolas and Liam.
Jeff and I have discussed the possibility of me running in this years race for the better part of the past year.
I have been very cautious, and have evaluated my motivations and my ability to give the campaign and the council the time and focus it deserves.
My Decision: If not now, when?? If not me, who?? I decided it is time to action and to take a chance.
I feel that my perceived inexperience is my biggest asset.
I bring an open mind for change and a willingness to make hard decision to further the growth of Pensacola.
If I have heard it once I have heard it a 100 times…it is time for change.
My 12 years of Mortgage Lending experience makes me uniquely qualified to analyze the past, evaluate the present and make sound decisions for our future.
I look forward to the coming months of campaigning and meeting my neighbors.
We all believe in the future of Pensacola and I am ready to move forward toward being the best we can be.
