Mobile job market bright

From Mobile Press Register

Mobile area employers expect 2008 to start much stronger than 2007 in terms of hiring, according to the results of the most recent Manpower Employment Outlook Survey.

None of the companies interviewed plans to shrink payrolls from January to March, while 17 percent said they plan to hire, said spokeswoman Elizabeth Ratliff.

The Mobile outlook is significantly brighter than the national expectation.
