al.com is reporting tonight that a Mobile Police Officer was fatally stabbed at the Mobile Metro Jail. The suspect, Lawrence Wallace Jr. is also dead after a chase. Mayor Sam Jones’ office confirmed the death as the Mayor was en route to the family’s home. From the Press Register
