The Mobile Press Register reports:
Following the arrival of a pair of new, $7.5 million cranes from China in March, Mobile Container Terminal marked another major milestone last week as thousands of tons of concrete began rolling onto approximately 55 acres at the $300 million facility.
Phase I of the new terminal is on track to open in September, said Brian Clark, terminal project director.
The terminal is a partnership between the Alabama state docks and Mobile Container Terminal LLC. …More
