Mobile Press Register reports: Boeing Co. is unlikely to overturn the U.S. Air Force tanker contract awarded to Northrop Grumman Corp., a leading defense analyst said Friday. The Air Force on Feb. 29 awarded the potential $40 billion contract to Northrop, which is proposing to assemble its KC-45 tanker airplanes in Mobile. Boeing is protesting the award before the Government Accountability Office, which is scheduled to complete its review of the Air Force’s selection process by June 19.
