At 4:26 a.m. this morning, a woman was shot and killed by a who man walked into Pensacola Fitness on North Ninth Avenue and fired several shots at her as she was working out at the gym.
The woman was struck several times, and died of her injuries, according to the Pensacola Police Department.
The suspect, who was described as a slim Black man dressed in gray clothing, fled the scene and remained at-large. There were several others inside the gym at the time of the shooting, but there were no other injuries reported.
The PPD just released the following information:
Pensacola Police investigators are searching for Kennon Nicholas Farrow, 39, who is wanted in the shooting death of Carla Elaine Williams, 48.
Farrow entered the gym armed with a handgun and fired several shots at Williams, striking her multiple times. Farrow then fled the scene. Farrow is wanted for first-degree premeditated murder. Farrow may be traveling in a gray Mercedes Benz, FL tag 154-RZU. If anyone has information on the whereabouts of Farrow, please call 911.
