More on teen shooting

Press Release: Sheriff’s Deputies responded to an early morning shooting that occurred at Royal Crest Apartments located at 190 Old Corry Field Rd. Initial reports stated that a vehicle was parked in the complex and was occupied by two females and one male. They were approached by another unknown male and after an exchange of words, the unknown male pulled out a gun and began firing into the vehicle. The vehicle then drove to the entrance of Twin Oaks Villas Apartments located at 4600 Twin Oaks Drive. Once deputies arrived they discovered the male, identified as 17–year- old Deiante Elijah Graham of Pensacola, was deceased from multiple gunshot wounds to the chest. One of the females suffered a gunshot wound that is not considered life threatening. She is being treated at a local hospital. The other female was not injured. Investigators are currently following up on leads and more information will be released as the case develops.
