Mother pleads for daughter’s life

Charlottes
Gulf Breeze mother Holley Moseley spoke yesterday at a Florida Department of Health’s medical marijuana rule making workshop.

She and her family were the driving forces behind the passage of the law legalizing Charlotte’s Web, a special strain of marijuana that is non-euphoric and helps children with intractable epilepsy. Holley’s daughter RayAnn, who battles over a hundred seizures a week, is patient who will benefit from the oil created from Charlotte’s Web.

Moseley tearfully argued for the latest rules be implemented: “Like most twelve-year-old little girls, RayAnn has a lot of sass and her own opinions about the world around her, but unlike most twelve-year-old little girls, RayAnn fights for her life every minute of every day.”

If the rules aren’t challenged, they will go into effect in April.
