Move over Swifties, Cowboy Mouth album drops today

Yes, it is true! The most stunning album drop of 2025! And we have an exclusive on the playlist.

  • Legendary New Orleans band Cowboy Mouth has done it again, this time with a banging playlist of covers from bands they have long admired, aptly titled “Cover Yo’ Azz!”

I have heard their cover of “My Way,” and it only confirms what we have always thought. There were times they bite off more than they can chew… and that is why we love them.

We are hearing rumors that there will be a party on October 4 at the Merry Widow in Mobile. We will get Fred on the podcast to confirm next week, just hang on.

In fact…

(We don’t) Color on the Dog is probably the only podcast to get an exclusive interview from a major rock star dropping an album today IN THE WORLD. Stick it here for more details! We will post it next week!

  • (BTW.. Gypsies, Tramps and Thieves is also covered on this album, and we hope that Fred can fill us in on exactly what intersection south of Mobile where Cher was picking up men on. Surely after all this time, they know such things.

In the meantime.. Order your copy!

  1. With multiple high level promotions and major pay raises for senior City executives, you would think the City has struck a gold mine. Unfortunately, the City taxpayers are footing the bill for the “gold mine”. The creation of high paying positions ( that often were not funded and the pay increases that are out of control, no wonder DOGE HAS GOT WIND OF IT. What happened to the checks and balances that were in place in Grover’s administration? Finance and HR had to sign off on these transactions to insure regulatory compliance and now anything goes!

ITS PROBABLY GOING TO TAKE A TOTALLY INDEPENDENT DOGE INVESTIGATION TO GET AT THE ROOT CAUSE OF ALL THE OUT OF CONTROL SPENDING AT THE CITY.
