Six finalists are in the running to make their mark in Pensacola history by naming the mascot that will represent the Blue Wahoos at games in Pensacola and all over the community.
Hundreds of names were submitted by e-mail, Facebook and Twitter. The names were narrowed down to: Blu, Capt. Catch, Salty, Sinker, Ono (Hawaiian for Wahoo) and Kazoo.
The mascot will be revealed to the public before opening day. Check back to bluewahoos.com for further details.
