National Philanthropy Day nominees announced

Pensacola, Fla. – The Association of Fundraising Professionals West Florida Chapter proudly announces the nominees for the 2018 National Philanthropy Day Awards Luncheon.
Several individuals and organizations were nominated for their philanthropic efforts including Ascend Performance Materials, Terrance L. Berling, Lauren Bonner, Megan Chapman, Cokesbury United Methodist Church, Nolan Costa and his band Classic June, Barry and Laura Cole, Highpointe Hotel Corporation, Impact 100, Robert H. Kahn, Jr. Family Foundation, Kia AutoSport of Pensacola, Janice R. Miller , Navy Federal Credit Union, Northeast Pensacola Sertoma, Panhandle Charitable Open, Tia Robbins, Andrea Rosenbaum, Southern Youth Sports Association, Marty Stanovich and Bob Young.

In addition to these nominees, AFP West Florida Chapter is proud to honor Jane Sabel Kugelman with a special Lifetime Achievement Award.

All nominees will be recognized and winners announced during the annual luncheon at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 15 at the Pensacola Grand Hotel, 200 E. Gregory St. Reservations are now open at community.afpnet.org/afpflwestchapter/home. Tickets for the luncheon are $35 for AFP members and $45 for non-members until Nov. 9. Walk-ins will be available on a first-come, first-served basis for $50 per person. Sponsorship opportunities and tables are also available.

In celebration of APF West Florida Chapter’s 30th Anniversary, there will be an after-hours social at Polonza Bistro, 286 N. Palafox Place, from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 13. All nominees, guests and community members are invited to attend. The event is graciously sponsored by Pam Schwartz.
