Navarre Beach Area Chamber set for Aug. 3

Press Release: The Navarre Beach Area Chamber of Commerce is holding a Candidates Forum on Tuesday, August 3, 2010. The event will be held at Holley-Navarre Middle School, 1976 Williams Creek Drive, Navarre, starting at 6:00 p.m. It is free and open to the public.

The Chamber’s Government Affairs Committee has organized the event. Candidates seeking election for County Commissioner, Board of Education, Holley-Navarre Fire District, State Representative, State Senator and Congressman have been invited to participate. Each candidate for office will be provided an opportunity to make a brief opening statement, followed by questions and answers.

Chamber members are encouraged to submit questions in advance by emailing them to exec@navarrechamber.com. Additionally, questions can be brought to the event in writing. The Chamber cannot guarantee every question submitted will be used during the forum. The event will be moderated and questions will not be accepted from the crowd during the event.
