Navarre Centennial Celebration Committee formed

The Navarre Centennial Celebration Committee yesterday unveiled the Centennial Celebration logo and website www.Navarre100.com

The logo was designed by Thomas Kulesa, the art director at Sandpaper Marketing. Thomas is a 2001 graduate of Navarre High School (the second graduating class of NHS) and a 2004 graduate of Pensacola State College. The logo includes the iconic Navarre Beach Bridge and skyline. It also includes some early settlement names of the Navarre area (prior to 1925): Robledal, Eagen, Bilowry and Hiawatha.

The Navarre Centennial Celebration Committee is gearing up for a yearlong celebration of the 100th Anniversary of Navarre’s Platting in 2025. This significant milestone in the Navarre Community’s history will be celebrated by commemorative events and programming, along with sharing the history of the Navarre area.

To assist with planning these events and activities between December 31, 2024, and December 31, 2025, the Navarre Beach Area Chamber of Commerce partnered with the Santa Rosa County Board of County Commissioners to establish the Navarre Centennial Celebration Committee (“NCCC”).

Information will be available soon on the website for organizations to submit their 2025 events for endorsement by the NCCC to use the Navarre Centennial Celebration logo in promotions. Approved events will also be posted on www.Navarre100.com and the Centennial Celebration Calendar.

If you are interested in serving on the Navarre Centennial Celebration Committee, a sub-committee or volunteering with a particular activity/event, please contact: Frankie Gibbs, NCCC Chair at fgibbs@mchsi.com.
