Navy Federal Credit Union will welcome members and neighbors across the country to its Navy SHRED-eral event this Saturday, October 18. The 74 participating Navy Federal locations include five new branches in four states.
Event attendees at participating Navy Federal branches will have the opportunity to bring their personal documents to be shred on-site, free of charge. The event will take place from 9 a.m.-1 p.m., local time. Navy Federal is inviting participants to bring up to four 12†x 24†boxes of paper and documents, but the credit union advises that CDs and other hard substances will not be accepted.
The largest SHRED-eral event yet, Navy Federal expects well over 50 tons of paper and documents to be processed during the event.
