New book shows dysfunctional White House

Washington Post reports that the book, “Confidence Men: Wall Street, Washington and the Education of a President,” by journalist Ron Suskind, “paints an unflattering portrait of a dysfunctional and acrimonious White House that sometimes stymied President Obama’s effort to rescue the country’s economy.”

I’ve interviewed Suskind in 2008 about his book “The Way of the World: A Story of Truth and Hope in an Age of Extremism” -which debuted at #3 on the New York Times bestseller list. Listen to interview.

I expect the “Confidence Men” to do as well if not better than “The Way of the World.”
