“I have worked for 5 years, and these last 10 months intensively, on my 5-Point Economic Development Strategy.
This plan ‘regionalizes growth’. This multi-faceted approach will not only bring in new jobs but will improve the job standards of those currently residing in Escambia County. This strategy complements the existing military presence and protects its future by shifting economic expectations.
This 5-Point Economic Development Strategy will in general: foster a regional economic interest that extends beyond the county’s border; that provides incentives to companies that have offices elsewhere throughout the United States.
This strategy will also provide a reason for businesses to come to Escambia County by establishing more specific incentive packages for businesses. In addition, Escambia County can and should establish international ‘exchange’ relationships.”
