Since August, we have rotated through the various boards in Escambia County. First, it was the Pensacola City Council with Strong Mayor, Port of Pensacola and The Oar House deck. Then we had Escambia Board of County Commissioners with George Touart, ECAT and more George Touart.
Now the public attention shifts to the school board with Godzilla Bergosh and teachers’ health insurance. Bergosh is pushing for a change in policy to limit Ronald Arnold’s ability to send out press releases…especially about him. Leroy Boyd (Movement for Change) wants Bergosh removed from office for his remarks…but there is no precedent for doing so. The teachers union doesn’t want to pay more for health insurance….none of us do.
May this is all the sign of a healthy community.
