NFL players to play Gulf Coast Celebrity Classic and raise awareness and funds for ALS, May 28

The first annual Gulf Coast Celebrity Golf Classic, hosted by Gulf Coast Aerospace Partners, will be held on Saturday, May 28 with a shotgun start at noon, dinner, prizes and a program to follow. Celebrity players include Chris Goode, former Alabama and Indianapolis football player and current president of the NFL Players Association Birmingham Chapter, his brother Kerry Goode, also from Alabama and who played for Tampa Bay, Antonio Langham, first round draft pick for the Cleveland Browns and All American cornerback, Olympic athlete Mark Everett and many more!

The Tournament will help raise money for the Goode Foundation, which began when Kerry Goode was diagnosed with ALS in August, 2015. Otherwise known as Lou Gehrig’s disease, ALS is a neurological disorder with no known cure. Many athletes have been affected in multiple sports since the disease was first discovered when baseball legend Lou Gehrig was diagnosed in 1939.

The event will be played at the Perdido Bay Golf Club. Perdido Bay Golf Club, former sight of the Pensacola PGA Open, where golf greats such as Jerry Pate, Curtis Strange, Gary Player and Arnold Palmer were regular attendees, is an immaculately kept course and continues to hold its integrity as a premier championship golf course. Entry fee includes after party with food, music and prizes. Sponsorships, Players, Hole Sponsors and Donations are still being accepted. Player entry fees are $125 each or Team of 4 for $400.
