Former Florida Commissioner of Agriculture Nikki Fried is the new chairman of the Florida Democratic Party. The Republican Party of Florida has already mounted its smear campaign, calling her “The Lockdown Lobbyist.”
Here’s their first list of attacks:
1. Supports sex change operations for young children.
2. Wants biological men to be able to participate in women’s sports.
3. Supported forcibly masking school children.
4. Incoherently spoke out against Florida Republicans’ common-sense parental rights legislation.
5. Supports well-known grifter Rebekah Jones.
6. Plastered her face on gas pumps across the state at the expense of taxpayers.
7. Said that in order to communicate with Florida Hispanics, she “talk[s] slow.”
8. Falsely claimed reporters who examined her policies on sugar cane burning were paid by environmental activists after her own party called her out for failing to stand up to Big Sugar.
9. Came under fire “for her failure to promptly report how much lobbying money she made prior to taking office.”
10. Was one of the loudest proponents of statewide lockdowns.
Sounds like the GOP is worried. If not, why bother? Hmmm.
