How the Finalists Were Chosen
A multi-step review. According to Sunday’s Child, the finalists emerged from a thorough review process that included member evaluations. The organization says the nine represent nonprofits whose projects promote meaningful charitable and economic initiatives while fostering LGBTQ+ inclusion and equality.
Members hold the vote. Member contributions fund the grants entirely. Under the group’s collective giving model, voting members decide which projects are ultimately funded.
Since 2014, Sunday’s Child has awarded more than $1 million to local nonprofits in the Pensacola Bay Area.
