More teen on teen violence. Yet no one wants to call gang-related. WEAR TV reports:
Pensacola Police say a 16 year old stabbed an 18 year old Wednesday evening.
It happened near the corner of Hart and Fairfax.
The 18 year old was transported to Sacred Heart Hospital with several stab wounds.
The 16 year old is in police custody and investigators are still determining the extent of his charges.
A spokesman for the department says officers aren’t sure what led upto the stabbing.
Neighbors tell Channel 3 they saw the 18 year old victim lying in the street and then 2 neighbors carrying him to a nearby mattress.
Here’s what one of those neighbors had to say.
Esco Johnson/ Eyewitness: “There was a little commotion right here and then everybody ran that way and we go down there and they were fighting.
They pulled him this way and he passed out in the street. I had to sit right here and keep pressure on him so he wouldn’t bleed to death.”
Police did say the victim’s injuries were serious.
No names are being released at this time.
