Nov. Gallery Night: ‘Fall Shop Small’

Gallery Night’s “Fall Shop Small” Set For Nov. 17! Featuring Palafox Tree Lighting, Winterfest, and Tate High Orchestra

On Friday, Nov. 17, from 5–9 pm, Gallery Night Pensacola will celebrate the “Fall Shop Small.” Join us and support shopping local in Downtown Pensacola, witness the lighting of the Palafox Christmas tree, enjoy a FREE concert by the Tate High Orchestra, kick off Winterfest, and more!

Gallery Night is an all-ages, community, arts, and cultural event held on the third Friday of each month from 5–9 p.m. Our unique monthly themes set the tone for each event’s art, performers, musical performance stages, and activities that are sure to please. Gallery Night events are made possible by its community partner, Publix.

Gallery Night’s November featured artist is Adrian Garcia. Aidan Garcia is a Pensacola native and has been creating artwork his whole life. Over the last 10 years, Garcia has been honing their style as an acrylic painter while also exploring other mediums and techniques along the way. “As an artist, I find solace in the transformative power of creativity. Through my artwork, I strive to capture the essence of my internal realm and translate it into visual narratives that resonate with others. With a palette of vibrant colors, I seek to evoke a sense of energy and vitality in my pieces, inviting the audience to explore the depths of their own psyche. Ultimately, my goal as an artist is to create a space for contemplation and connection, where art becomes a catalyst for personal growth and collective understanding.”

To check out Garcia’s work, stop by the Featured Artist tent at the intersection of Palafox and Romana Street! For more information on Garcia and other participating artists at Gallery Night, head over to our website page: gallerynightpensacola.org/artists !
Gallery Night’s Artist Zones are located throughout the Gallery Night footprint on Palafox St. Our extensive art zones will be hosting nearly 50 local artisans at this month’s event! Visit our artists’ open-air tents along the street-side to find those unique treasures and gifts for you, your family, and loved ones.

Gallery Night activations include Legal Graffiti, sponsored by Zarzaur Law, at Romana and Palafox, which will also include a showing of large-scale “Mural Alley” paintings at 106 Palafox Place. The pieces will be available for purchase via silent auction. Proceeds benefit Pensacola High School’s Art Department. You can also venture a bit further south to the Youth Music Project Stage, sponsored by Stevenson Klotz, at the corner of Palafox and Government.

Participating Downtown Pensacola bars and restaurants are open and serving guests. Additionally, local shops and galleries will remain open late, providing the opportunity to shop for additional unique gifts.

Gallery Night Pensacola’s Board of Directors encourages mask usage for those who are not vaccinated against COVID-19 or are at high health risk.
