NPR CEO Vivian Schiller has resigned over the controversy surrounding a video was released showing chief NPR fundraiser Ron Schiller (no relation) criticizing Republicans as “anti-intellectual” and calling the Tea Party “racist.” Ron Schiller was baited and caught on a hidden camera by James O’Keefe, the man responsible for undermining ACORN in a similar ambush. He taught he was meeting with two men pretending to be from a fictional group called the “Muslim Action Education Center.” NPR turned down a $5 million donation offer by the fictitious group.
Ron Schiller resigned last night, which NPR reported on its morning radio news program.
