Obama succeeds again


The image of a bloodied Col. Muammar el-Qaddafi offered further vindication of President Barack Obama’s War on Terrorism. While the GOP right wing wants to portray the president as weak on foreign policy and defense, the end of Libyan dictator’s 40-year reign is his second major victory this year—the first being the successful raid that ended in the death of Bin Laden.

Obama was criticized by some Republican leaders for supporting the Libyan rebels. However, he did intervene, put strict limits on American military engagement and let NATO allies take the lead in backing the rebels. That effort was the difference maker.
