The SpringFest Board of Directors is proud of the public and private support it has generated during the fall. We are encouraged by the way the community has embraced the prospect of the revival of this important event.
For the Board to feel completely comfortable in proceeding with the production of SpringFest 2008, however, additional partnerships need to be forged. In this regard, the Board is exploring a possible collaboration with a production group. This group is comprised of organizations already at work assisting with the planning of the Festival. Additionally, this group would assist SpringFest in any downside risks associated with producing such an event.
We are hopeful that this partnership can be created in the near future, thereby allowing the rebirth of SpringFest on April 11th and 12th, 2008. The decision everyone has been awaiting has been postponed until the details of this partnership can be finalized.
