Official Announcement of Parking Permit Program

The City of Pensacola is excited to announce the launch of two new parking options designed to better serve city residents: a Senior Parking Permit and a Resident Discount Program, both available beginning Wednesday, Oct. 1. These initiatives are part of the mayor’s ongoing efforts to improve parking accessibility and affordability while upgrading the city’s permit technology.

“We’re committed to creating a parking system that works for everyone,” Mayor D.C. Reeves said. “These new programs are about supporting our residents and seniors, while making it easier and more affordable for them to enjoy everything our city has to offer.”

The city is upgrading its parking permit technology to deliver a more user-friendly, efficient, and convenient experience for both current permit holders and new users.

As part of these improvements, two new programs have been created exclusively for city residents:

  • SeniorPass – New! Discounted parking for senior residents of the City of Pensacola
  • Resident Discount Program – New! 50% off standard parking rates for City of Pensacola residents

In addition, the updated system will continue to offer a variety of parking permit options, including:

  • StreetPass AM – On-street day parking permit
  • StreetPass PM – On-street night parking permit
  • JeffersonPass – Jefferson Street Garage permit
  • LotPass – Designated parking lot permit
  • BoatPass – Boat ramp parking permit

These updates are designed to make parking more accessible and affordable, while providing flexible options to meet the diverse needs of Pensacola residents.

These new programs aim to provide affordable parking solutions and greater flexibility for residents. All permits are limited and subject to availability, so residents are encouraged to apply early.

The updated permit system will make it easier for residents to purchase and manage permits online, reducing wait times and simplifying the overall process.
