Elected officials still seem to be in denial over the Quality of Life survey. Big mistake. If they would spend any time listening to people other than their buddies, they wouldn’t be surprised.
People aren’t happy with the overall lack of leadership from our elected officials. They don’t want to hear how Mayor John Fogg or the Council would do a better job if they were paid more. They are tired of the same problems being ignored year after year.
Politicians need to take ownership of the survey, take some responsibility and then start talking about how they will change things.
The denial game isn’t working. The voters are smarter than the elected officials think.
