From my point of view these are the top stories at pnj.com -without video, podcast, webcams or forums: (be aware all pnj.com links may have a limited life span)

Channel 98 soon could air county broadcasts – Escambia County commission gets its own cable channel. Instead of using BLAB or WUWF-TV, the BCC gets its own propoganda machine. As long as they give us the meetings live and unedited, I will be happy – but wary of other programs like a Gene Valentino cooking show.

Green ads catching on – Ross Orenstein and Mona Amodeo have created public service spots that feature “Eco” the butterfly and urge viewers and listeners to “Think ecologically. Reduce, Reuse, Recycle.” You can see the print ads in the Independent News.

Young Professionals, Studer Group unite – Studer Group offers its coaches to help train business leaders. We have a Difference Maker ad on this new institute in the March 27 issue.

Mark O’Brien: Get your fill of April Fool’s phony stories… – Moby takes on Fiesta, historic Pensacola, Mike Whitehead and Gulf Breeze. Not sure this is really that a big change from his regular opines.
