OMG: City Council spends 20 minutes discussing schools

For the past 20 minutes, the Pensacola City Council has spent time convincing each other that the Escambia County School Board should give the city land – for low income housing, business incubator. What a waste of time! The topic is the City’s interlocal agreement over school planning.

Mayor Mike Wiggins keeps trying to get them to move on, but they keep beating this issue to death. Non-committee members are doing a lot of the talking.

Of course, nothing came out of the discussion…other than an agreement to talk about it more later.
