Pace ministers will hold church service in church

That is essentially what happened yesterday in Pace. The local ministers agreed to plan and hold the Pace High School baccalaureate service in a church. This is Gulf Breeze High School has been doing for decades.

According to the PNJ, Pace Assembly of God pastor Joey Rogers said at the rally, “We want to let the students know this community supports baccalaureate for them, and they have the support of ministers in spite of the ACLU ruling that has come down.”

ACLU didn’t say that Pace High School couldn’t have a baccalaureate service – and the Federal judge didn’t either. Just not on campus.

Pace High School and the Santa Rosa County School District created this “crisis” but not following the law. ACLU tried to avoid the lawsuit, but school officials refused to change.
