Pamela Homyak has been selected the 2015 Big Sister of the Year for the state of Florida.

Five years ago, she met her Little, Skyler. Skyler was only 10 years old at the time and the bond was instant. Throughout the years, Pamela encouraged a shy Skyler to break out of her shell by engaging in new experiences, from attending The National Flight Academy camp to playing tennis and even fundraising for BBBS! Above all, education is the top priority,
Pamela consistently tells Skyler “Education is the way to make your dreams come true, but most importantly; there are two things that no one can take away from you…your faith and your education!”
Pamela has made a life changing impact on Skyler, “without Pamela in my life I wouldn’t be where I am today” writes Skyler. “She has been someone who I’ve looked up to for advice and help over these short, yet long, five years.”
