The Pensacola City Council has been afraid to hire a law firm to represent it against the BP for the city’s lost revenue.
Meanwhile Panama City hired a firm, Nix, Patterson and Roach, in September. The firm created an economic model to demonstrate Panama City sustained losses.
The Daily News reports: “City Council members agreed Thursday to a settlement offer from BP for $1.2 million in economic damages to the city from the Deepwater Horizon oil spill.” Read more
