Panhandle TigerBay Club: LEO and Race Relations

Press Release: On Friday, June 19, Panhandle TigerBay Club will host Escambia County Sheriff David Morgan, Pensacola Chief of Police Chip Simmons and Reverend LuTimothy May to discuss the relationship between local law enforcement and the African-American community.

The luncheon will examine the issue of law enforcement and race relations in the context of recent events in Ferguson and Baltimore, as well as consider how the issue of race and law enforcement relations impacts our local area.

The goal of the event is to gain insight into the different perspectives of this challenging issue and how to address it as individuals and leaders in our community.
