CareerSource Escarosa to host Paychecks for Patriots Hiring Event Friday, Nov. 13
A Statewide Hiring Event Connecting Florida Veterans with Career Opportunities
CareerSource Escarosa and Pensacola State College have partnered to host Paychecks for Patriots, a special hiring event dedicated to local veterans and their families.
The event will be held Friday, Nov.13 from 9 AM to 1 PM at the Pensacola State College South Santa Rosa Center located at 5075 Gulf Breeze Pkwy. | Gulf Breeze, FL 32563.
The Florida Department of Economic Opportunity, the Florida National Guard, and the Florida Department of Veteran Affairs have partnered with CareerSource Escarosa to connect area veterans and their families with career opportunities and local resources.
More than 50 percent of the military and veteran candidates who attended last year’s hiring events gained employment as a result of the relationships formed at Paychecks for Patriots events across the state.
This year, the event has grown to a full week of programs across the state – the week of Veterans Day, November 9-13. During this week, CareerSource Escarosa will aim to match veterans with employers who value the knowledge, skills, and attributes attained during military service.
