PBA endorses Bender

Today, the NW Chapter of the Florida Police Benevolent Association (PBA) endorsed Republican Robert Bender for County Commission (District 4).

“The most important responsibility of an elected official is to provide a safe and secure community. As your next County Commissioner, I will always stand by law enforcement to give them the tools and resources they need to keep us all safe and I’m extremely honored by their endorsement”, Bender said.

Robert Bender is a Pensacola native. He is currently an insurance consultant for large public entity and commercial clients in Escambia County and surrounding areas. He is actively involved in the community, including service as a member of Leadership Pensacola Class of 2013 and Co-Chair of the class project, “LEAP Trail,” the Finance Committee for Episcopal Day School, and the Executive Committee of the First Tee of Northwest Florida. He has chaired committees for the Pensacola Seafood and Crawfish Festivals, participates annually in the Men Who Cook fundraiser for the PACE Center for Girls, and is a member of Christ Church. Robert earned his MBA from Goizueta Business School at Emory University and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Rhodes College after attending Pensacola High School. He and his wife, Amy, have two children.
