Our Crestview state senator – Durell Peaden – wants to cut back in funding for the disabled.
From the Panama City – News Herald:
Amanda Baker, 26, is a college graduate and has a job and an apartment. She also has cerebral palsy and relies on transportation, housekeeping and companion services to live on her own.
However, a bill sponsored by Sen. Durell Peaden, R-Crestview, which is predicted to pass Wednesday, could cause Baker to lose the independence she has worked so hard to achieve.
