With passenger numbers continuing to break records at Pensacola International Airport, PNS has added a new economy lot with over 330 spaces to make parking more accessible than ever for travelers.
Economy Lot 3 is now open at Pensacola International Airport, with 339 parking spaces including 11 electric vehicle charging spaces and two handicap-accessible electric vehicle charging spaces.
“We’re excited about this much-needed addition at Pensacola International Airport, especially as we enter peak travel season this summer,” Airport Director Matt Coughlin said. “Our goal is always to make traveling through our airport as easy as possible for residents and visitors, and this new economy lot will help make the traveling process smoother than ever.”
The Economy Lot 3 parking lot project was orchestrated entirely in-house by City of Pensacola Engineering staff, including the project engineering, plans production, project management, and construction inspection.
The rates for Economy Lot 3 will mirror the airport’s existing Economy Lots 1 and 2, which are $2 per hour (up to $8 per day).
The Pensacola International Airport shuttle will include a stop at Economy Lot 3. The shuttle is free and runs a continuous loop through the airport.
Economy Lot 3 runs along 12th Avenue in front of the Hyatt Place hotel. The entrance to Economy Lot 3 is on College Boulevard.
