Pensacola airport boarding down 17 percent

The Panama City News Herald is reporting that the Pensacola Gulf Coast Regional Airport has been hit hard by the recession. While the airport still has more boardings than either Panama City or Okaloosa airports (58.518 in April). The Pensacola airport’s boardings for April are down 17 percent from last year. Panama City boardings are down 4 percent and Okaloosa 1.9 percent.
