Pensacola Airport bonds rated near the bottom

flight

Fitch Ratings announced yesterday the Pensacola International Airport bonds have maintained their BBB- rating – which sounds good…until you compare that rating with other airports.

Pensacola is second from the bottom. The only one that has a lower Fitch Rating is the Susquehanna Area Regional Airport Authority that governs the Harrisburg International Airport, Capital City Airport, Franklin County Regional Airport and Gettysburg Regional Airport in south-central Pennsylvania.
